Attributes CAPS

Here is what I see on the SE search result of myself:

Strength 42 (42)
Vitality 66 (66)
Dexterity 40 (45)
Intelligence 16 (16)
Mind 13 (13)
Piety 16 (16)

What do the bracketed numbers means? Did I put too many point on Dex while it's currently CAPs at 40?!

Hmm I think the extra 5 points of dex are the points I got from my equipments.
